Decorator Center In UAE
Dulux has opened its seventh Dulux Decorator Center (DDC) retail outlet in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The new center is located in Abu Dhabi. The first of its kind in the UAE, the center offers a wide range of services including free color consultation and one of the largest color portfolios which customers can use to match their fabric, wallpaper, tile, paint or upholstery. Dulux’s advanced computerized tinting system will also allow customers to mix and match any of 20,000 colors available in any shade. Each DDC has a trained in-house color consultant, according to Dulux.
“Color, like people, can have different characteristics and personalities, such as adventurous, bold, reserved, shy or warm. Color consultants use Dulux’s own unique ‘language of color’ tool to profile personality and match the appropriate color type to a person,” said Philip Mathew, general manager, Al Gurg Leigh’s Paints, a manufacturer and distributor of Dulux in the UAE.
“The Dulux Decorator Centers are a distinctive competitive advantage in this market. While other paint brands focus on the wholesale and construction market, Dulux in the UAE has an additional focus on the growing BIY and DIY segments of the market,” said Mathew.
